Last Thursday evening, Asterra Properties held a mixer benefiting Austin Child Guidance Center, a local non-profit providing outpatient mental health services to Austin children and families for over 60 years. The Center’s goal is to improve the lives of children and their families with the help of trained mental health professionals. Nicole Huff, the Vice President of the Center’s Board of Directors, spoke at the event and shared her personal experiences with the organization. Nicole commented, that the Center made such huge impact in her life and the lives of her family, she was motivated to to volunteer at the Center and to eventually serve as a member of the Board of Directors. Austin Child Guidance Center is also taking part in the Amplify Austin event, a 24 hour fundraising drive for local non-profits on March 20th. All donations are matched by 56%. Asterra, with the help of its sponsors and all the guests in attendance raised more than $2,200 for the Center.
