Connally McKay

Connally McKay is a lifelong Texan, growing up in Victoria, TX, graduating from Baylor University in Waco, TX in 2005, and living in Austin since 2006. Connally’s entire professional career has been focused on real estate and oil & gas, and he brought this experience to Asterra Properties in 2016.

Connally specializes in tenant and buyer representation, multi-family and residential development, site selection, oil and gas mineral rights and entitlements. For the past few years, Connally has focused on urban infill redevelopment projects, from simple buyer and seller representation, to full blown development project management.

Connally is also a long time rugby player and coach, and is the current University of Texas Men’s Rugby Head Coach. He played for the Austin Blacks Men’s Rugby Club for 14 seasons, and was a part of two USA Rugby Men’s Division 1 national runner-up teams (2007, 2015), and back to back USA Rugby Men’s Division 3 national championship teams (2018, 2019).
